Gravel roads, some snow but route finding easy. Great views but got some bug bites as there were some ponds...

Fun little hike, narrows at parts but not bad. A few small creeks you go threw. I did this one after jawbone.

Tight trail. Avoid on damp/rainy days unless you want to find out what water resistant means to your pants. I'll be back, but on a dry day.

I would rate this as more towards difficult. mostly because it is not really maintained. about a mile in, the trail is pretty well blocked with some down trees. also the road is pretty good, till about 1/2 mile from the trail head, there is 1 section that is bad, you should use a truck or a car with high clearance.

Mt. Whetstone is one tough hike! The trail is easy to find, but isn't very well maintained Steep grade almost the entire way to the top, will have to climb over a few downed trees but nothing major. The view from the rock up to is breath taking and worth all the sweat getting up there. Will go again when its not the month of March.
