A quick drive from Medford and a short, easy hike brings the reward of stunning, birds-eye views across the Rogue Valley in three directions from the plateau of Upper Table Rock. On a clear day, the view extends past Medford to the Siskiyou Mountains in the south, Mount McLoughlin's apparently symmetrical cone above foothills in the east, and even the Rim of Crater Lake far to the northeast.

Great hike. Trail is in great condition. A little slick in a very small section. Beautiful views even on a slight over cast day.

Great hike! A bit steep on the way up but that just made it easier on the way down. Gorgeous views, even in November.

Quicker, easier hike than Lower Table Rock. Beautiful when foggy. The top is a fragile, unique eco-system, so no dogs allowed. The signs are clear, although some people ignore them and take their dogs anyway. It’s such a shame.

Trail is short, very steep and rocky in some places, but wide and pleasant, well maintained. Views at the top are spectacular and 360*.

Great trail. Pretty rocky with some bugs. Also, I heard a fellow hiker saying there was poison oak!

Fun and fairly easy hike. There's plenty of shade going up but none on top. There are several benches and rocks to rest if needed. At the top the views are fantastic! Sweeping views of the valley and mountains makes the hike well worth it.

Pretty steep uphill hike with a constant gradient, but once we hit the Mesa top, the walk flattened out and the vistas opened up. Beautiful vegetation there. Steep escarpments on almost all sides. The way down is wheeee!

Nice easy hike. Perfect for active recovery days. Trail is a little rocky near the top, watch your step.

Fun hike. It took me 30 minutes to get to the top. My Fitbit said 1.2 miles. I like how you can walk the loop for a longer hike instead of going back down right away. The Vultures are entertaining

This was a nice hike to kill some time. Not hard to the top, but definitely amazing when you got up there.

Very nice quick hike. A little crowded after 10am, but other than that it was nice.

This is a great shorter hike with spectacular views at the top covering anywhere from Medford to Crater Lake. At the top, there is a variety of plant and animal life, with wildflowers covering the plains at the top along with the opportunities to sight a variety of hawks and other birds swooping overhead. We enjoyed the hike up, which was mostly in the shade and would surely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice short trip.

Beautiful views along the way up but especially once you reach the top of table rock - makes the hike up well worth it. More than a few really cool hideouts to sit down and enjoy a lunch. P.S. Beware of poison oak!

Such a rewarding hike. At the top of table rocks are flowers that don’t grow anywhere else in the world. And the view is unbelievable. Upper is actually an easier hike than lower.
