A simple hike to an incredible lake and camp spots. You start at the Frog Lake Snow Park, trail starts just to the left of the restrooms at the North end of the lot. Very well marked. The trail is well maintained, pretty wide, and overall in great shape. The first 1.5 miles is up hill but not very steep. Once you get to the lake you will be greeted by a large camp area with fire pits and the lake of course.

Great short hike for families, especially those with younger kids. The first 1 1/2 miles is gently uphill and mostly shaded beneath a great second-growth canopy. The trail is well maintained. It ends at Lower Twin Lakes, but it’s only another mile to Upper Twin Lakes. There are numerous campsites around the lakeshore, with a larger concentration at the trail’s end. The lake and the campsites looked clean and I found no evidence of litter. While no spectacular views of Mount Hood at Lower Twin Lake, the lake was ringed by smaller forested peaks and provided a peaceful location to enjoy the wilderness.
