This is a short hike to two beautiful waterfalls on Tumalo Creek beneath Broken Top Mountain. The first one you encounter is the largest at 97 feet while the 2nd (Double Falls) drops 30 and then 20 feet with about a mile in between. You can hike further up Tumalo Creek for more smaller waterfalls if you have time.

Great hike! Falls were amazing!

The directions say that it's unable to find. AT needs to fix because we could not get to the Double Falls. I hiked 3.9 miles down the Tumalo Creek Trail and saw the awesome Tumalo Falls. Just absolutely beautiful. Would have loved to go on to the Double Falls but there were no signs on the trail to it.

We can't get directions to the trailhead from this app. Maybe the coordinates are off? Going to try old school map....

The gate is still closed. The walk down the road isn't bad, but not as fun as I had originally planned. It was still a great hike and the waterfalls were beautiful.

Would be nice to know that the gate is closed. 2.5 miles walk on the gravel road to get to the parking lot then the trails for the falls begin.

We went mid-March in the hopes of using our snowshoes before the season ended. It was a little warm and the snow had compacted enough for it to be a nice hike without the snowshoes.

The most notable element of our hike wasn't the waterfall. Unfortunately, it was the tremendous amount of dog crap along the trail. I must have missed the sign that said "If your dog has to crap every 25' and is prone to bouts of diarrhea then bring them here and don't worry about picking up after them!" Don't get me wrong, I love the little furry guys, but it would sure be nice if their owners were a little more considerate of others and picked up after them.

If you like waterfalls, the sweet smell of a fresh steaming pile of dog crap and the challenge of a poop riddled obstacle course then this is the trail for you!!

Beautiful hike on a snowy day. it's very isolated from the wind so even on a windy day it was quite pleasant. Lots of ice in the parking lot on the day we were here with several cars sliding into each other. Better to park before you cross the bridge and walk up.

Great hike in a beautiful forest! Road was a bit bumpy coming in and parking is limited. Easy hike and there is a branch in the hike that brings you right to the falls- it's great!

Big bang for your buck! An easy, pretty trail that follows Tumalo creek and several waterfalls. You won't work up much of a sweat, but if you keep a brisk pace it's a very pleasant 2-mile walk. The parking lot is crowded, but once you go beyond the overlook at the top of the falls, the crowd of people thins out and it's not bad.

Tumalo Falls is a great hike great view! There is not a lot of parking and people will start parking down the road. It is an easier hike for kids. There are also a lot of mountain bikers on the trail. There is a third fall I believe just passed double fall not to much farther.

Kid-friendly, took the grandkids up, largest fall is at the trailhead but many paths continue up the creek. We found 3 waterfalls & kids loved playing in the creek. Easy hike, dirt trails.
