It was a tough uphill hike for a newbe. The views were fantastic. Make sure to fill out the day use form at the trailhead, there was a ranger about 1/2 mile in checking hikers for the form.

It was a fun hike. Rolled in some snow that was still hidden behind the meadow to cool off.

The water was beautiful, the fishing was great, and you can't beat the view.

Breathtaking view of the Tam McArthur Rim. Just a little steep jaunt in the beginning then the hike lays flat. An easy hike for all skill levels. Be sure to bring mosquito spray.
