Hiking

Easy hike with just the right mix of sun and shade. You have to listen for the fast moving bikes. Even on a weekday. One view of the Sisters from Sweeds shelter, otherwise your in the trees almost the whole way. Still a good hike.

Really pretty hike, but super dusty. Watch for the mountain bikers, they move pretty quickly.

Mountain bikingBlowdownSnow

Rode from Swampy Lakes to Bend via Swede Loop/Upper and Lower Whoops/Phil’s/Cascade Highlands this morning. A few blowdowns on Swede Loop and 10-15 patches of snow that we had to carry the bikes across, but nothing major. Nice temps and no dust. Can’t beat it.
