Paved, Fire Raod & Single Track hike through old & new growth. Good workout. From the south-side orange gate you start an uphill hike the 600 or Patterson Road (which is a gravel road). You will top out at a junction between the 600 and 810 road (you'll see a survery marker on your right), go right the 810 road with ends at the Alpha (single track) Trail. Follow the trail down to where it picke up the 810 road again. From the 810, merge right onto the 800 road which ends at Sulfer Springs Road. Take a right and start your final climb up the hill back to summit parking lot. A long this way you'll see old growth and new growth, with views of the valleys and hills. It is a good up and down workout.

The pictures of the trail on here are of Abiqua Falls in Scotts Mills. So if you go on the hike this is not what you will see

The pictures posted definitely do not match the trail, the trail is different than what is mapped, and if you want to hike the last (or first) bit on a busy road then go ahead.

I don't think I did this trail right but I did run into a spectacular view! It is quite confusing with all of the junctions and old trails.

The trail is much shorter then it says it is, but it's worth it.
