Note: There is a new section of trail (2014) that cuts off a bit of the portion where you walked the road. This is really a pretty nice hike through second growth forests. Lots of moss, nice open forest floor, and stream crossings.

This trail has been completed and should be open for use later this year. You will then be able to complete the loop with out being on any of the roads. There is damage to the railings on some of the bridges that was caused by the winter storms. Repair work will be under way soon. The bridges are useable. 4/25/2017

Nice mossy vine maples and second growth Doug fir. Has a nice feel to it. There's a meadow at the far SE end of the trail.

This trail is just a short, out-and-back offshoot of the longer Gales Creek trail. It's worth checking out if you're hiking through anyway.
