Beautilful trail and great exercise. Perfect after work hike .

trail is difficult to follow...I had to circle back a couple times...be sure to familiarize the path names which are mostly fire roads

Ok so this hike was super amazing up until I completely went the wrong way but too far to go back so walked the road a little to get back to my car. I'd recommend checking the map to make sure you're following it correctly. I'll come back and try not to get lost next time!

Beautiful and well maintained path. Plenty of shade once you reach the loop. Parking area is small so you may need to squeeze your vehicle into a space.

This was a very fun loop, lots of wildflowers and wildlife. Pay attention to the trail markers though, as we did get a little off course.

I found a min Buddha and Garden gnome on this trail, if you can find them too I’d like to think we’d both found our luck for the day. Great hike, will be back!

Lovely, largely shaded trail with some good up and downhill segments. So many off leash dogs though

Scenic. Friendly walkers, bicyclists, runners and dogs. Not fogged in as the city was below this hill. Caution when driving to the location, some drivers are flying downhill and may lose their lane; saw a crash on the way up that lead a car down the side of the hill and into a tree. Use this map to stay on the trail, since it's not well marked, and there's a few connecting trails going off of this one that won't take you directly back to the start of the trail. Parking was fine, not as crowded as the trailheads down below. Trail was a bit slippery on the wet leaves. The hike uphill was not easy, but if your up for a challenge or trying to get back in shape, it's worth it.

great trail, but I ended up parking at Firelane 15 (about half a mile before the trailhead) because I couldn't easily find the start to this trail. I hiked Firelane 15 (blue trail on the left, on the map) until it connected to Skyline, and then just looped around from there. It took me an hour and a half hiking at a steady pace. Pretty empty (I went on a Tuesday at 3:30), and peaceful. Good signage.

Beautiful trail. Definitely recommend hiking poles, it was a little slippery at some places. Watch out for a steep incline almost half way through the trail.

Great Sunday morning trail for running. Plum tree on the way was an absolute delight. Pets on the trail are fun to interact with - always tempt me to get one !!

this is my go-to trail when I need some forest time but don't have time to get out of the city. relatively quick and easy (with one steep incline section). depending on the time of year there's a nice little stream and great views.

Beautiful summer trail. Lush, few other people. Signage not good

It was a good little hike for my first solo with both dogs. It was moderately trafficked, especially at "intersections" of the Wildwood trail. Lots of wildflowers & berries & butterflies. Elevation could be considered moderately difficult, but not an issue for experienced hikers. Over all a very pleasant day hike.

Anybody know if there's horse trailer parking off Skyline Blvd?

Limited parking at the gate. Follow fire roads 13, 12, and 15, and return via Wildwood Trail. Well marked.

A little tricky, but the app is a godsend! Parking is very limited, and trailhead/parking unlabeled. Across from light blue house.

Pretty easy hike. Amazing view of St Helen about the 1/2 mile point. After the zig zag part of the trail, the climb up is steep and challenging. That is the only part that is moderate and definitely gets you breathing and sweating. I'm definitely doing it again and again.

Beautiful hike! A great mix of shade and sun. Mostly under a canopy of trees. Pretty views of Mt. St. Helens and the Columbia River. Recommend!
