Short hike but challenging. My dog enjoyed it as well.

I’m not sure why this trail is rated easy, as shown on All Trails, it’s definitely moderate. BUT, there are two different trail heads as well! One is where All Trails shows it and the left trail as shown is a loop to overlook. The right trail takes you down to the beach. The trail is nice through the woods with ferns, but there are many roots and rocks to trip over. The last part of the trail to beach is rock climbing down. Again, not easy by other standards of “easy” trails. The 2nd trail head is at mile marker 345.5, small turn off for parking, but the trail is 310 feet straight down and back up. Still have rock face at end. Beautiful falls and really 3 separate “secret” beaches. You can even see one of the Arch rocks from this beach. Neither trail head is marked as Secret Beach. Well worth the hike, either way!

One of the highlights of our trip. Went down onto the black sand beach with beautiful cliffs and caves and explored. Only saw one other person.

Stunning a must see. Go when it’s not busy. Plan to stop at all the viewpoints or even better walk the coast trail between them. Plan to have your lunch on the rocks or in the private caves.

Taking the waterfall path was really a beautiful hike, I really enjoyed the breathtaking views and how secluded it was. By far the best beach I've been on at the Oregon coast. So happy that all trails led us there!

Awesome view, short and easy hike!

Loved this place. We took the shorter, steeper way with small children and they did fine. You do have to scramble down a big rock at the end, which was tricky with the toddlers, but well worth it.

This a fun trail, that makes a beautiful place to watch to sun go down.

Best time to go is at low tide. I have been there at low and high tide. Both worth seeing. Low is the best experience to go exploring all the nooks and crannies mother nature has created for us to take care of and enjoy. Secret Beach has stolen my heart.

Loved this hike! We hiked on a weekday and had the beach to ourselves for an hour. Be sure to go at low tide for the best experience. Steep going back up the trail but worth it! Probably the most beautiful spot I've seen on the Oregon coast, and that's saying A LOT! We also had a cute sea lion swim up and check us out as we were standing on the cliffs above. Such a great experience! Do not miss this if you are on the Southern coast!

Didn't have time to make it all the way down because we got there too late, but ended up at a lookout peninsula that was absolutely gorgeous. Would definitely come back earlier in the day to go all the way down to the beach!

Three ways to get there....straight in short or you can go in from the north or south.

There are two ways to get here. the long way is parking at thunder cove right after the actual pinpoint for this trail. The other is a much shorter but steeper trail it is in a small parking area that isn't easy to turn into with a guardrail on the left side of the road. there is a space that is hidden from the road like a hobbit hole. Trail is quick. beaches are awesome. Not the best for tidepooling but I would visit again for sure.

Hiked the longer trail from the Thunder Bay turnout. Then missed the trail sign marking the junction. Other hikers came down another trail from a parking area north of Thunder Bay trailhead. Stunning beach with a waterfall

Hard to find the trailhead but if you are headend north on 101 it is shortly after the natural bridges viewpoint. Look for the guardrail on the left side to end and there is a small parting area right at the end of the guardrail. There are two trails one right and one left of the lot. Take the one on the right and it is a short hike down to the beach. Plan to go at low tide and you can reach all three beaches. Waterfalls, sea stacks and just stunning views!

Couldn't find the trail head!! GPS took us to Natural Bridges lookout which didn't show a secret trail option. A trail was blocked by a sign preventing us from going through suggesting we would damage wildlife. How do you reach this trailhead?
