All of the trails here are great! The view from the top of Salal Hill is incredible! For the most exercise I park in the Quarry parking lot and hike up. The views are spectacular in ever direction!

Short, easy hike up the hill! You get views of the beach on either side as well as a different perspective of the lighthouse.

HikingFeeGreat!No shade

Great little hike, pretty windy on top. Easy hike after the initial steep stairs. Warning the directions to start of trail are wrong. Go to Yaquina Light house pay your entry fee (currently free as light house and all other buildings are closed) and park near the light house. Trail starts by the bathrooms.

Nice easy walk up the hill overlooking the lighthouse. Great coastal views. People were NOT wearing masks on the narrow trail because people suck, but luckily we had the whole way up to ourselves and only encountered such rude, thoughtless people on the way down.

Well maintained, great views. Usually crowded but the road in is closed at this time because of the Rona so the crowds are significantly less. Great time to go

This is my favorite trail in town. Short, well maintained trail. Unbeatable views at the top.

It provides a nice overlook of two beaches and the lighthouse. Had a great opportunity to see whales at the time as well. Trail is short, not very steep and gravel.

360 degree views from the top! Easy hike up the hill on a single gravel track. Worth the walk, you could stay up there all day

I ran most of the trail. It is only one person thin. It was short and fun. Took some great photos. Very few people travel it because the trail was overgrown in several places. you have to pay to access this trail...7 dollar day use. it is located near the restrooms by the lighthouse at Yaquina Head.

Breathtaking views. A must do hike. Flies were bad but didn't bite . Federal run park. $7 fee but good for 3 days. Bathrooms available at trail head. Bring binoculars to look for whales. We saw 3 of them:)
