Rogue Gorge Trail is a 0.3 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Prospect, Oregon that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking and nature trips and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
A quick stop on the route to Crater Lake with nice views of the Gorge...paved and family-friendly. Accessibility: The trail surface is paved, asphalt, typically at least six feet wide, and has a mostly gentle grade (estimated under 5%) except for by the most eastern viewpoint. It may be too steep for wheelchair and stroller users to access that viewpoint without assistance, although there are two other viewpoints.
The rogue River Gorge is located just south of the intersection of routes 62 and 230 just west of Crater Lake Oregon. There are no parking fees.
Easy to miss, but worth stopping to check out (super quick detour). A short, kid-friendly loop with some cool views of the river gorge below.
