The impacts of continuing budget cuts on the FS is real evident here.

The first stretch, about .8 miles, is great. Rolling, easy, no roots. Awesome trail for families. Once you hit the switchback, you're hauling your bike over a downed tree every 100 feet. Gave up at about tree 20. The cutoff trail has so much deadfall on it, I didn't even see it going in, and had to really look for it coming out. Too bad, this is a great trail. I wouldn't think it'd even be fun for hikers.
