Very nice walking trail, definitely made for the rich folk. But I still enjoyed it!

Walking

More like a nature walk than hiking. Nice playground for the littles, the Malcom McDonald House was cool, and so was the pedestrian bridge. Noise pollution...the light rail noise was close enough to be a distraction from truly enjoying nature.

WalkingGreat!

Pretty decent interurban trail. The Rock Creek Trail on the whole isn’t bad for being in the suburbs.

Great paved trail in a mostly urban setting. Lots of bridges over and around Rock Creek.

Road bikingGreat!

I use this trail 4-5 times a week - usually for biking. Well maintained and fairly heavy usage but great to have a nice, wooded trail close by in the city. Early morning is a great time to go if trying to avoid people.

Beautiful park. There is a route option animals are allowed. Only one portion of this area is not pet friendly. Wish we had known as we would have had our dogs join us.

This was a great walk, we extended it and walked around the elementary school, not too busy and paved for strollers and such in some areas. Nice!

Walking

Nice trail, clean and well maintained. NOTE: I’ve seen many say they can’t find the bridge, green apple, etc.. I found it! It won’t pull up on AllTrails. Search for Orenco Woods Nature Park in your search engine and it takes you right to it.

Calm, peaceful, easy trail. I’m not from the area so keeping your eye on the map is a must so you don’t get off trail with the other interlocking trails. Is wasn’t as nature-y as I thought it would be. You see apartments and houses frequently.

Really lovely nature park in the middle of the burbs. Sure, you can hear cars but you are in the middle of a city. It’s lovely, most people wearing masks. Great for kids. I ran the out and back from Rock Creek and it was an east run with jut a bit of incline to make it interesting.
