Simple trails with nice views along the way. With no shade it could get pretty toasty on a hot day.

Not only is this trail perfect for the family ( little ones ) it also offers great space for interval running!!! Your pick... keep it flat or add a decent and incline with a run along the river when you drop down into the canyon!!!

More of a leisurely walk than a hike but a very nice stroll!

Nice trail for a long morning with the kids. We hiked from the ranch to Tumalo State Park for a total of almost 6 miles. Varying scenery and not very crowded on the canyon loop.

the gravel loops (figure 8 on map) are just blah. great for kiddos and and easy 30 minute walk but nothing exciting. For the river and all the really great views go to Robins run path. there is about a 800 foot section that is really steep, but once past that its moderate walk with beautiful river views.

A great family hike. Turns into a good trail run below the rim rock by the river, which continues to Tumalo State Park.

Nice trail easily accessible from Bend, yet not busy. One slightly challenging down/uphill section, but otherwise flat and wide trails.

It was a very nice hike. Very close to where we were staying. We first did the sage and juniper loop, very easy hike. I highly recommend doing the canyon loop as well, beautiful views of the river. There is a steep climb down and back up but it’s short and well worth the hike.

simple easy trail close to town. no dogs allowed. not much shade unless you do the canyon loop as well.

great easy trail

A great close-to-town hike with some good opportunity for wildlife viewing. And some beautiful spots along the river.

My daughter and I loved this hike. It’s pretty easy except for one spot. That’s was steep. But it was worth it. So beautiful!

I loved this trail! It's beautiful and well conditioned, not too lengthy, but a good workout if you want it. Especially when you hit a pretty steep decline. Overall, super fun
