A fairly easy trail for me and my dog. Went in the morning and only met 1 person on the trail. As I was leaving a couple more cars pulled up. Shaded, beautiful stream, and lots of trees, ferns, and mushrooms.

Lovely hike through the forest and redwoods. We loved it since it is dog friendly. It is also isolated, so we didn’t see any other people there. Occasionally muddy or slippery, but overall a very easy hike in the woods.

Magical forest hike. Huge redwoods and large variety of ferns. Very lush. Easy trail to walk. Lots of ups and downs though. Afterwards you can cross the road and sit by the river. Very pleasant.

Beautiful hike, my older dog was off leash the whole time except the last 100’ coming by into parking area, that was the only time we saw other people. We went on Sunday morning about 9:00. Might do it again this week, weather permitting.

This trail has some really large redwood trees. We had our dog off leash most of the trail. We went on a Saturday and saw only a handful of people. Totally worth it!

This is a super fun trail if you have little ones! It’s easy enough to let them explore and discover nature on their own. There were a few parts however, that the trail was a little too narrow for clumsy, little legs but all-in-all it’s a fantastic adventure!

I loved this hike! There are some steep ups hill parts and some steep down hills. I wouldn’t recommend for everyone! It is over grown in some areas but that didn’t bother me!

An absolute hidden gem. Short, easy loop but with enough elevation change to get your blood pumping if you want. Beautiful spot, and very few people around.

Nice easy trail, the redwoods here aren’t as big as they get further south but it was still lovely to see. Little streams and waterfalls too. Parking was readily available right in front of the trailhead.

I believe this stand of redwoods is the furthest north they go.

I thought the trail and the hike were beautiful but I would not rate this as easy. As someone with a mild heart condition I look for easy rated trails. This trail has quite a climb and a lot of switchbacks. Switchbacks don't make it any easier to go uphill. I would personally consider this trail moderate due to the amount of climbing you are doing although it is a good length and a pretty walk.

Went on this hike with our kids today as part of our RV trip to the Redwoods. Saw a banana slug Almost right away which was cool. Perfect length of hike for younger kids, not very steep. It felt otherworldly. Redwoods are so amazing to see. The whole area was so dense and green. Really enjoyable hike.

Easy trail, mostly shaded, towering trees, moss-laden branches, and banana slugs! Great for kids, dogs, and everyone else. Awesome little trail for those making their way up the Oregon coast and just want to stop and stretch and enjoy the beauty of these magnificent trees.
