Powder River Trail is a 3.7 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Union, Oregon that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and fishing and is best used from April until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail.

The last stretch of road to this trail is a narrow one lane track that looks like it has been washed out in the last year. I couldn't traverse it in my vehicle and could only get to within a mile of the trailhead. I didn't end up getting to the trail due to time constraints. In warmer weather, keep an eye out for rattle snakes.
