A 280 foot descent, then ascent, of roughly 532 stairs (some stairs are not safe to walk on or are non-existant towards the bottom) from the Port Orford Lifeboat Station to Nellies Cove. Remnants of the boathouse, which burned down in the late 1970s can be seen from the cove trail.

Did this in the winter along with the trail around the point that was onsite. When I got around to the end I got to see the cove and the ramp used to get the lifeboat in the water. Wild times back then and a nice somewhat protected little cove.
