Plunkett Creek Loop Trail is a 2.8 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Philomath, Oregon that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Located in Kings Valley this hike follows a creek up a canyon, and a short hill hike to a meadow view. Located in Kings Valley, this is the largest of all Benton County Parks at 586 acres. The Beazell Memorial Forest is managed for environmental education and research opportunities. It is a demonstration forest and open space area, with progressive ecosystem management practices to be used to protect, conserve, and restore the natural, scenic, outdoor recreation, and wildlife values. The site has been constructed to support public access, provide cultural and environmental information, along with a trail system. You'll find hiking trails for all ages and abilities.

Nice little hike if you're in the area! I drove from Salem and thought it was a little far for a short 2 miles. But it feels very secluded - didn't come across one other person on the trail which is rare!
