Trails were icy, of course. It was the only snow all winter. Still lots of people out, a couple of soft spots and very very heavy traffic. The new bridge is beautiful. Best trails that you can have in the middle of a metro area.

Good trail, lots of shade from the woods. Most of the hike is through forest, which is beautiful. A couple things to note: If you start at Hoyt Arboretum, you’ll need to get lucky and snag parking on the street, otherwise you’ll need to pay to park in the nearby lots. Also, the overgrown house on the cover of the hike does not exist along the recorded route. That’s what I mainly did the hike for, and was disappointed when it never showed up. Other than that, good trail.

beautiful hike. The bridge is open now, but know that there are a lot of runners on this trail and a good amount of overall traffic.

I haven't run this yet, but here is a map of the trail closure. https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5665d770df40f3d958f69fd2/t/5c8a81ede5e5f08b8e55b2f2/1552581117359/Forest_Park_working+map+for+temp+closure.pdf

Beautiful trail! Would have done 5 starts but didn’t realize the crossing to take you up to Pittock Mansion was closed while they build a bridge across Burnside. Cut back using the Redwood trail. Definitely plan on exploring more of Washington Park!

This would be a great trail to hike, however about 1/2 mile into it, there is a fence with a posted sign stating the trail is closed until Fall 2019. We did love what we could see of the lush, green landscape.

Were only able to go maybe .5 miles on this trail. Wildwood is closed around the Redwood Trail. It said it is closed until fall for bridge construction.

Great trail, mileage slightly off. I started at one of the bottom Hoyt Arboretum parking lots and it was 4 miles to Pittock. There was also part of the trail closed with a re-route but the re-route wasn’t any longer than the trail would’ve been. Instead of coming back the same way, I did a loop through Hoyt Arboretum which made it 6.2 miles. Hardly anyone out on a Monday. The one thing to be wary of is that this trail brings you to the crossing at Burnside. There were breaks in the traffic to cross but just be aware that you do have to cross it.

Lovely hike through the trees, plenty of shade, well maintained trails. Pittock Mansion is well worth visiting - you can get to the house via the road.

great trail when one has a few hours to hike with the great rewards of city views when you reach Pittock mansion ( that has public bathrooms and a water fountain). Try to go when the Magnolia trees bloom for an extra nature beauty treat. thisbis my go to excersise and replenish the soul hike although if you go mid day there are lots of people so try to hit the trail early so its less busy.

The trail is closed due to a landslide. It still takes you up to the mansion for amazing views! You just cannot continue from there.
