Pintail Marsh Observation Blind is a 0.3 mile out and back trail located near Jefferson, Oregon that offers the chance to see wildlife and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking, trail running, and birding and is accessible year-round.
A short trail out to a blind gives families a great opportunity to see waterfowl. The Pintail Marsh Observation Blind trail is a great one for kids. There are tons of interpretive signs that give kids a great foundation for any future studies in wildlife. At the end of the trail, there's an octagonal observation blind that gives them a chance to watch for birds even if they can't sit still.
It's decent but not as Kool as the other Rail trail in the Ankeny Wildlife Refuge, but this would really be good for the elderly and young kids.
easy. fun to see the changing colors on the trees. be careful on the boardwalk because it's slippery when wet.
