Super short hike, partly on an old spur road. However, the view of the falls was breathtaking and well worth the stop. Once arriving at the Pinard Falls TrailHead, follow the trail (old spur road) off to the left for a little over a 1/3 of the hike. You will then see a trail to your left, marked by a backwards sign, which will take you the rest of the way to Pinard Falls.
My favorite falls of the three!! Stunning!! Downhill there and uphill the whole way back but a very short hike. I also parked about a mile from the trailhead due to the snow- some people made it through with suvs. Completed on 1/29/17
Loved this place. Towards the end of the trail there is a very steep and slippery spot. As long as you are careful you can make it though. So worth it!. There is a bench just before it gets real steep if you don't wanna go for it you will still have a great view.
A beautiful sight! A little difficult to get down to the falls with the loose dirt, and the hike back up is killer and all uphill but it's very short and worth it for the breathtaking view!
Beautiful hike. Had the entire area to myself. Pretty secluded. Trail gets kind of steep to get to the actual falls. Kids should be able to do it no problem.
It was an average waterfall place but to far of a drive up just to see it and climbing back up the hill sucks. Lol. Very clean cold water.
Short hike, amazing amazing falls.
this was a great trail! it's a short hike but so beautiful and the waterfall was so incredible. in the same area is spirit and moon falls. so while I was there I also hiked to spirit falls, it was such a great experience. I highly recommend this trail
Great trail especially for beginners. View breathtaking
These 105 foot falls are spectacular and well worth the trip. The trail is downhill to the falls and an easy to moderate hike back up. You travel through a dense second growth forest. There is a viewpoint and picnic table at the bottom of the trail. Moon Falls and Spirit falls are within a few minutes drive. Make sure to see all three while in the area. An easy hike for the kids.
Like the description said, the hike is short but the view is wonderful...What made this trip even more worth while for me was the chance to also visit Moonfalls and Spirit Falls in the same trip. They are all within a few miles from each other. The attached link unfortunately does not contain information on Pinard Falls, however it does provide very detailed information on Moonfalls and Spirit Falls. (You will see signs for Pinard Falls on your way to Moonfalls and Spirit Falls, this is how I stumbled upon it :) )
