Super short hike, partly on an old spur road. However, the view of the falls was breathtaking and well worth the stop. Once arriving at the Pinard Falls TrailHead, follow the trail (old spur road) off to the left for a little over a 1/3 of the hike. You will then see a trail to your left, marked by a backwards sign, which will take you the rest of the way to Pinard Falls.

See my review of these 3 closely spaced waterfall hikes under 'Moon lake hike'. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I thought Moon lake was the prettiest- which is yours...

The trail is 5 stars, but the mosquitoes are pretty heavy. I wouldn't suggest doing this without plenty of bug repellent! The waterfall was so pretty though and I'd love to do it again.

...should be marked an easy trail. The only reason it may have. When marked moderate is a few switchbacks towards the end. Still early in the season so there are a few muddy areas of the trail. Wear shoes you don't care about. Love that we caught the waterfall going down and the most rising. Beautiful!

As an experience hiker this hike is not as hard as they rate it. However, beginners could find it difficult. Beautiful falls especially early spring.

My favorite falls of the three!! Stunning!! Downhill there and uphill the whole way back but a very short hike. I also parked about a mile from the trailhead due to the snow- some people made it through with suvs. Completed on 1/29/17

Loved this place. Towards the end of the trail there is a very steep and slippery spot. As long as you are careful you can make it though. So worth it!. There is a bench just before it gets real steep if you don't wanna go for it you will still have a great view.

A beautiful sight! A little difficult to get down to the falls with the loose dirt, and the hike back up is killer and all uphill but it's very short and worth it for the breathtaking view!

Beautiful hike. Had the entire area to myself. Pretty secluded. Trail gets kind of steep to get to the actual falls. Kids should be able to do it no problem.
