The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
The trail starts at the back door and ends at the front door of the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center. It goes out to the panoramic point and past the old stamp mill from the rabbit mine.
Nice partially paved walk. A couple marmots sighted and early flowers.
Lovely little walk with gorgeous high desert views! If you start from the interpretive center, it costs $8. Definitely worth going to, but if you just want to walk you can access the trails from the highway for free.
