Ran this as part of a bigger loop. (Started @ Cummins Creek - Cooks Ridge - Discovery Loop - Oregon Coast - back to Cummins Creek, GPS: 9.2mi) I really liked this section of the run. The Trail had a slight decline most of the way, soft footing, getting to run through the trees. Well maintained w/ some nice views. A nice end to a long run.

This trail best serves as a connection to looped trails such as Cummins Creek.

A nice walk in the woods with great views of the water and Cook's Chasm. Very easy

Beautiful, quiet, serene. You can hear and sometimes see the ocean throughout the whole trail. The visitor center has good information and there are many other side trails to explore.

Mostly uphill. Every step is worth all the amazing coastal views. Very Beautiful!

I take my 2 year old on this regularly. The elevation is slight up and down over the course and the payoff at the turn around is hooking up with three other trails, Cummins Ridge, cook or turn right at the bridge for the beach. Views of the ocean most of the trail and decent trail conditions.
