Take a short hike to the top of this Butte with amazing vistas in all directions. This is a short hike with some great views and a picnic table at the top. This park has multi-use trails but mountain bikers should stay off the horse trails and both horses and mountain bikers should stay off the trails when they are muddy. From the top you will have great views of Mt. Hood in the distance. I've outlined a fun trail that will bring you through an open meadow into some trees and back without being on the same trail twice.

I love getting off work early and doing this quick loop... Rain or shine it's always enjoyable!

Lots of greenery and would’ve been a great view if it wasn’t so cloudy. Easy hike. Done December 5, 2017.

Did a version of All Trails loop that was beautiful with leaves turning. Did notice, though, that All Trails trail names seldom correlated to trail markers or locator maps. Still, lovely hike.

This is one of our favorites in the area. This route is nice, but we like to take a left at the Elderberry trail from the Cedar Grove trail and follow it along the forest until it hits the Service Road, then take the road straight to the water tank info center and parking lot. It adds an extra 10-15 minutes. It's not a hard hike and is not too uphill, but has a nice balance of meadows and woods. Rained on us, but still was very pretty.

This is a great little urban hike with well marked trails. Definitely an easy stroll even with a little bit of elevation, part gravel trail / part paved trail, and plenty of gazing at Mount Hood and Mount St. Helens on clear days. Trails are mostly through beautiful wild flower fields so dress for the elements, rain or shine. Open for dogs, bikes, and horses alike.

Great trails, lots of variety. Wooded dirt trails nice and quiet, beautiful wide open spaces gravel trails, and easy going paved paths. Dogs have to be on leash, which I personally don't care for. I'll take a off leash dog park over any place any day. It was a great easy walk though. Nice to just stroll and take in all the beautiful scenery.

Hiked it today and added a few other little trails to make it just under 5 miles....one can add even more.

I really liked the terrine, at the top was grassland and loads of red tail hawks. The back side was wooded and mossy. The trail was a little muddy on the back side but one could always get around it.

There were a ton of dogs and many were not leashed - it was the Sunday of a 3 day weekend so maybe there were a lot of not so typical user out today?

Although the parking lot was about 30% full the trail further out was very quiet.

I ran across only 3 mt bikers, all were very nice and used proper trail etiquette.

Definitely want to come back on a clear day in the summer when I can see the mountains and everything is in bloom. Still a very pretty walk otherwise.

I only did one trail. I will definitely go back with my kids and take a few different routes! A lot of dogs on this one.. almost stepped in poop:(
