Never been up to the lookout. I felt it was worth the drive. Definitely a long gravel drive up the mountain. Once at the parking area it’s just a hike up the rest of the gated gravel road to the top. The view was pretty amazing though and even though the lookout had been vandalized it was still worth checking out. I brought my 11 year old son and a couple of his friends and they enjoyed it as well

quite a crazy drive all the way up. The lookout is no longer maintained and you aren't supposed to access it by vehicle but it can be done with 4×4 or on foot. The top has the most majestic 360 views, and there are lots of beautiful places to stop along the way and hike or take in the view.

Beautiful drive!! Well worth it if you enjoy mountain drives. Didn't get all the way to the top because of snow and I don't have 4 wheel drive but beautiful nonetheless.
