Juniper Canyon Rd to Boat Ramp Rd

The actual trail starts at Prineville Reservior State Park's campground at the top of the B loop next to the cabins. It follows the water to Jasper Point State Park then follows the lake again to Owl Creek. You can access the trail by the North road (an unimproved road) if not camping.

Not so much a trail, more like following a dirt road that is closed to cars half the year.

We started out on the OHV trails at the West boat ramp. The trail was muddy and quite steep going up to the rim overlooking the reservoir. We (Karen and myself) hiked all the way around the rim, to HWY 27. We were running out of daylight, so we turned back after we reached Bowman dam. Next, we intend to start out earlier and hike from the reservoir off of Juniper Canyon Rd, to Chimney Rock.
