No snow as of 6/21. Easy to follow pretty much the whole way, just pay attention to the signs

I did this hike today with my wife and 3-year-old. It took a lot longer than we expected due to snow still covering good portions of the trail. We also didn't expect so many people to be out and about! However, as we marched further up the loop, clockwise, we met fewer and fewer hikers or mountain bikers. It wasn't until well after the halfway point that we started to see civilization again — mostly in the form of mountain bikers.

The waterfalls on the first half of the hike were truly amazing and the epic vistas on the second half made the climb worthwhile. We would definitely hike this one again!

I think we would have turned around if we didn't have the AllTrails map downloaded. The trail markers were tricky and in some cases completely missing. Also, we're somewhat new to hiking so discovering that the trailhead parking was fee-based after a 60-minute drive to get there was a bit of a bummer.
