For those in Portland who would like to walk across the historic St. Johns bridge and see the lush woods of northern Forest Park, this 6.9 mile loop is a great way to enjoy them both. It can be muddy in the winter with the rain, but for the most part trails are kept up well.

Very muddy in parts but I was still able to run it...which was not an easy feat. I’d like to do it again when the trail is in a better condition so I think that makes this a good review. Also, note that during the view of the bridge from Forest Park is clear no matter what season it is.

Ended up going along Leif Erickson for some flat terrain

Been looking for a little longer hike in North Portland that is a loop and not in and back. Found this trail to be great!
