Munson Creek Falls is a 0.5 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Tillamook, Oregon that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
Very short trail, the part of the trail that is closest to the waterfall is closed indefinitely. Good if you want a little walk (round trip not more than half mile) and to see a beautiful waterfall from afar.
Trail is wonderful but washed out and one has to Ford the stream.
Very short walk/hike through the forest to get to a waterfall that is bigger than it looks in pictures. The road in has quite a few potholes but was fairly easily passable in my 2 wheel drive sedan while driving carefully. It is worth the quick stop but only took us about 20 minutes. You also can’t get very close to the waterfall which is kind of a bummer.
this is a great short trail with a huge pay off around the last corner. It has some wind damage but is OPEN (4OCT20)
Very easy short hike with a beautiful waterfall. You can’t get very close to the waterfall at all, walking along the creek is very nice. Heavily trafficked with friendly people. The salmonberries and watermelon berries were an awesome addition to our experience. **note: I went in the summer (July 2019) but I still wanted to write a review because this place was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend it for all ages and skill levels!!!
Extremely short hike. It's more like a nature stroll. But the view of Munson falls near the end of the trail is well worth it. You could take the kiddos on this one. It is very easy. Unfortunately I went when the end of the trail was closed off due to fallen branches and logs but it was a fun walk.
