This is a beautiful out and back with a high elevation gain. The 11 switchback keeps your sweat rolling for sure. The view from the lookout platform at the top of the falls is unbeatable.

Very cold and rainy day today. Besides the down pour twice it was a decent hike/run. Not challenging at all but good mileage hike. The summit of Larch Mountain was not desirable and very disappointing.

We had a blast hiking the loop with our 2 small dogs. No ice and a couple smaller slick mud spots. All in all a fabulous hike to finish off 2019! So many spectacular views.

If you are short on time do not hike to the top. Wet and muddy if you do plan to hike to the top. The best view is at the bottom and on the bridge. Not in a rush eat at the Restaurant.

Great hike - very crowded typically. But once you get past the first bridge it’s less crowded and when you go further than the overlook there’s even less people

Great trail but do to past fire many railings are missing, falling apart. Narrow pathways in a few locations tad nervous when passing people or having smaller children. Otherwise great views on way up, better so than the actual end.

Fun hike with the kids! Go early or off season to really enjoy, otherwise the crowds can detract from the experience.

Beautiful as always. Too many people for my liking. View from the top isn’t bad.

Moderate to difficult because of elevation but well worth it! Going all the way to the top it flattens out for a bit, my favorite part as not many people dared brave the hike! I couldn't help myself and started at Wakheena but went back through Multonomah falls on the Larch mountain trail. Many beautiful waterfalls! Took me about 3 hours.

This place is nice, well the 1 mile away from the whole tourist attraction that’s at the base with a full restaurant and 20 million people trying to capture the perfect selfie. I recommend if you go get past the first .5 miles and hike to the top then the beauty begins. Do not go on a weekend or during the high season when a lot of tourist come from overseas.

Welcome to the Gorge Disneyland. Over crowded. Urban, paved path.

Nice switchbacks for a quick and scenic one-hour hiking. If you have time they have a longer half-day hiking route.

Beautiful falls. Trail is ok, but definitely check out the falls.

Great hike with my boys and our dog. Significant climb over the first 2 miles, then easy traverse to the trail that heads down towards Multnomah Falls. Surprised at how low the traffic was today, with kids out of school and terrific weather. It was cold and windy but the skies were clear and the sun was out.

Very touristy. Literally drive up and you can see the fall. No hiking required. Trail is paved and hiked by all ages. I even saw people in heels.
