Great views. On way up closer to the top, was a really steep incline. Very challenging if one isn’t in great shape. Did this one without poles. was manageable, even though I usually prefer to have them, predominantly for downhill to protect the knees. Fun and challenging. Did this hike on Monday. Muddy but no problem. Kudos to the nice friendly guy who was jogging this hike in the cold and rain. Looked like his dog, who was off leash, was having a blast keeping up with him. On way down got a break of sun. Was nice. Definitely recommend. Check out Spencer Butte as well. Did that one today 1/15. Was awesome. I kinda liked the Spencer Butte a bit more, but both nice. Check out my review on that hike.

The less populated trail head is a great way to start the hike. Trail #1 and trail #2 require dogs to be on leashes but the others allow for voice control. It’s a wonderful way to get out some dog energy. The dogs would give it five stars! People and dogs was very friendly, giving these trails a sense of community! We took Trail #6 to trail #2 (back on leash for dogs) to the summit then all the way back to trailhead on #6. Done on November 30th. Trail is pretty muddy toward the top on Trail #6 other trails weren’t too muddy. On thanksgiving day I did #2 from main trailhead. Also wondering hike and not as steep as trail #1. Trail conditions were good but icy in parts at the top.

I really like this place, it has it all, nice trails, signs everywhere, beautiful views and a pond to refresh afterwards. Ideal for kids and dogs. I enjoy my trips there every time.

Points of the trail don’t have shade and it gets really hot. Ground is rock/gravel which can get uncomfortable on your feet. Wear good shoes.

It’s a different kind of trail. Mix of shade and sun. Blackberries everywhere. Nice views. Took a couple of different loops on the way back. Met 3 locals who gave us lots of good tourism suggestions!

I completed this trail over a year ago with my wife, son, and dog. The trail is steep, dirt and gravel, and has little to no shade. It was very challenging and while the view at the top was gorgeous, it was more of a hill for people looking to get a workout in and less for nature lovers. That being said, this was my first experience with Mt Pisgah and it ruined my thoughts of the place until I learned of the other trails along the sides that are really the most amazing and gorgeous places in this area. Well maintained, shaded, wetlands full of life. I say this so if people have had a similar experience they might learn sooner that the area has much more to offer than a steep climb and view on a busy trail.

This trail always kicks my butt and I love that about it! I consistently finish in 1 1/2 hrs! It’s steep and gravelly, and I do appreciate the location!!

Great hike along a wide, open trail. Never hard, but with a good, consistent incline. You’ll be sweating. Scenery is broad and grand, opening down and toward the western sunset. Huge, wild oak trees are the dominate flora, and lend a different atmosphere from Oregon’s typical forest hikes. Summit is a long N-S ridge with great views of the valley.

It was dry so the trail was a bit hard packed and slippery but otherwise enjoyable. It’s a steady consistent climb all the way to the top with a great view of the valley below. There’s no shade so be sure to bring water and sunscreen.

Nice! Lots of choices as far as trails go; take a picture of the map at the beginning of trail if you want an easy way to keep track of the offshoot trails. Good views throughout, some shaded areas and some sunny.

Beautiful views the whole hike, from meadows to forests to farmland to mountains. Challenging enough, entirely uphill, but nothing too hard. Parking was $4 through the Passport app.

Vraiment une belle vue sur le lac Willoughby. Une saucette dans le lac par la suite s'impose! Que de beaux moments inoubliables que nous avons vécus!

Awesome wildflowers and snakes... I’m not a huge fan of snakes but we saw 3 non poisonous snakes on the hike.

Awesome hike that kicked my butt after three days of hiking in a row. Great views from the top, but pretty busy for a Wednesday afternoon.
