This was a great trail for me and the boys on a summer ride. We road on many different loops and surfaces. I would rate it as easy. The setting was beautiful and other users friendly.

So many trails for biking, walking, running (and great hiking trails going off the main paths). If you like fishing, this is a great place for that too! And don't forget the well-kept dog park!

Complex trail network can be confusing, but it makes it easy to customize the distance you want to go! most paths are paved and everything is VERY well marked with maps frequently throughout the park.

Wild flowers were blooming all along the trail and in the open meadows. Was an easy but beautiful walk along the river and into the open park spaces. Paved and crushed rock pathways with no real climbs. Good for families and pets on leashes.

Great no pressure walk. Nice for a casual stroll or bike ride around with a friend or pet. Easy to get turned around if your not careful, so pay attention to what turns you take.

Very nice trail and very close to Salem. Great to get away on an island. You feel like you are in the middle of nowhere.

our 1st Minto Brown walk with our new Yorkie boys! we all did geeat!

this is NOT a hike but is a great walk. The park is almost all pavement therefore a GREAT place for a young child to learn how to ride a bike without training wheels or a young family pushing a stroller. It was also good for me trying to rehabilitate my knees after a bad car accident. So my rating for a hike is one star but as a walk 4.5 stars.

In Spring you get amazing wildflowers, in Summer you get berries, in Fall you get amazing foliage, and in Winter, you get mud. Don't go during the winter!

First and foremost this wildlife refuge It's an awesome getaway. It's a great place to walk, run, ride bicycles, ride skate boards and long boards. It's has a good dog park, and some pretty good fishing holes too if you're into that. It's just a awesome park to visit.

Took my recumbent trike on this trail. Lots of fun. Fairly busy but not crowded. Pleasant ride.

These are a great set of trails. We saw a bird nest, deer, and lots of nature. Many kinds of trails to meet everyone's wishes. We had a great time.

Well maintained park with lots or trails, both paved and not. I took the trail along the river that goes into Eola Bend park. This is a city park, the views are not the same as those at our more remote locations and coastal hikes, but for a quick outing, this place is great.

There is a nice network of trails. Mostly trees and grasslands with some nice views of the river and wetlands, no visible housing except one building across the river. You can hear the highway if you listen but you can also hear a lot of bird activity. It has park benches along some of the routes and the routes are marked well enough with distances that you can change up your route daily to keep it interesting. I am a new walker so the flat is great. I waik daily from 2.5 to 4 miles but there is a 10K route too.

Good trails. Great for running. If you’re looking for a real wild outdoor hike, this ain’t it. Not saying it’s a bad hike, it’s a good place to do if you live in Salem and don’t have a lot of time to drive far.
