Cool and damp today, it was lovely! This would be good on a hot day also, because it's shaded the whole way. When you get to the top, go to the right for the last 100 feet up to the old lookout site. Steep and hard, but we took it easy and made it just fine... about 1:40 going up, and an easy hour coming down. The trail is not well-traveled (which we loved), and has been recently cleared. Thanks to the Willamette National Forest!!

I too took the Middle Pyramid and it is not well travelled. That aside, it's worth every bit of the effort and there was not a soul around. Secluded gem.

the trail I hiked was middle pyramid trail. it's a little over grown but easy to follow. plus some trees to climb over. all this is worth it. the view is awesome. you start out in a nice forest hike then come the switch backs..
