hot springs

Off the beaten path, this hot spring is too hot to sit in, but has at least one of every geothermal feature. Steam vent, hot spring, mud pot, and geyser. Worth a look if you are in SE Oregon. As far as the trail goes there is not much of one. Once you arrive there is a well worn path heading in, but quickly disappears. Be careful where you step as you wander around looking for the geothermal features. Keep pets on leash and kids in hand. Water is very hot and ground can be unstable, so be careful.
