Easy hike along McDowell Creek with lower and upper views of Royal Terrace Falls and Majestic Falls. The McDowell Creek Falls offer exceptional scenery with places to stop and enjoy a picnic lunch. Some fishing and wading is available in the pools below the falls. Nice trail that's a bit rocky in places and with a few downed trees to step over. Not well marked but found some great views on the detours. Beautiful falls.

About five minutes after parking at your first choice of waterfalls go left towards Terrace falls for the far better direction of the hike otherwise he will be really upset that you didn’t. It’s clear at the end, going right is brutal on the way up with nothing to see if the top

Great hike. Family friendly. Took two dogs and four kids. The trails were being maintained when we arrived. A little crowded for the middle of the week, but worth it while wearing a mask.

Good hike but very over grown. Very muddy but that was to be expected with all the rain we have had. Kids enjoyed it. The stair were hard. Not well marked.

So much to see! Two big waterfalls. The full loop wasn’t marked well, but worth it. Majestic waterfall was really cool. The trail was overgrown in a few areas, but not too bad. It wasn’t very muddy considering all the rain as well. Highly recommend this great family hike.

The trails were in great condition but this was more of a walk than a hike. Great to experience something new though. There were a lot of people!

A little muddy from time to time, but overall a beautiful hike. Most of it is pretty easy with a few inclines (one part has a lot of stairs, but hey, at least there’s stairs!).

Great hike! Total of 3 big falls and lots of little ones. Take the big loop and you get to see all 3, in just over 3 miles. Beautiful hike.

Super easy trail and if you’re out of shape- it’s not hard! Does get slick when wet. Lots of mushrooms to spot when the seasons right. Waterfall is beautiful!! Kid friendly, pet friendly.

Muddy today after yesterday’s storms. Loved this hike. We went really early so we wouldn’t encounter any crowds. This would be a hard trail for social distancing.

Beautiful drive and a great hike. Lots of families with dogs & young kids. Tons of stairs. Both falls are beautiful and worth a visit! Very populated, but clean.

I liked it. Not one of my favorite hikes but it was worth getting some fresh air. Majestic falls is pretty nice. If you want to social distance-don’t go. There were a lot of people Paying no attention to distancing themselves.

Love this hike. It’s relatively easy with a few places to make you sweat. We always take the stairs down instead of up. They are a little wonky and can be steep. Much easier coming down. One of our favorites.

Really an amazing trail! The falls were majestic, as their name implied and it was not crowded - easy to social distance
