It was awesome, highly recommend, but wear shoes you aren’t afraid to get a little muddy.

Lots of mud. Some folks wiped out goin’ up & downhill. Salmon berries plentiful. Creek crossing along a downed log. Bees’ nest in adjacent tree. Trail ends abruptly at a fence and construction (apparently a future expansion linking more miles of trail). Pretty and nearby, definitely not an immersive nature experience though.

Nice, easy hike. There were practically no trail markings, but using the app helped to make sure we headed back the right way at the end. 3 and 1 year old easily hiked this. We thought it was absolutely beautiful and well shaded for a warmer day. Dog friendly. Due to COVID, the play area is closed off.

It was muddy but not terrible. The trail was sorta confusing but it was nice making up where we wanted to go instead of one big loop. My 4 year old did great.

The trail map was pretty inaccurate and confusing, but the hike was beautiful nonetheless. Still open on 4/30

The first part of the trail is around Marshall Park and is well maintained and easy to navigate. The latter half is more like a regular hiking trail and a little bit harder to follow (especially with how muddy it is). It seems like a few people think the trail is incomplete or ends at the river, but all you have to do is walk across the big fallen tree - the trail continues on the other side. Like I said though, it’s SUPER muddy - which made it a blast for me (but I know it’s not for everyone)! No bikes are allowed on these trails. Used primarily for walking/hiking, but there were a few runners around the park. Dog friendly. Beautiful area with lots of scenery.

December 2019- This was a confusing loop. It was really muddy, and tough to navigate. There wasn’t much signage indicating where the loop path was, and there were multiple paths from private properties stemming onto the loop but presented itself as being apart of the loop? It was really pretty, but confusing. At one point, the trail dead ends into the river. We had to turn around and walk back out.

The loop part of the trail that stays on the north side of the park is beautiful and easy to trek if you're okay with incline. If you take the southern trail along the stream it gets muddy and slippery. The "bridges" that allow you to cross the stream are just 2x4s so be careful. I didn't make it to the southern end because I didn't have good shoes, but otherwise, it was a very satisfying little hike.

Can't do entire trail listed in map here. Far tail of trail disappears.

Pleasant short hike if not particularly well maintained.

This is a really nice trail. I went with my dog and it was peaceful. I just didn't know that a huge section of the trail is under construction, but we made it work!

Didn't finish the trail. I was looking for something with a more maintained trail. part of it was fine, but as you get to the end of the panhandle it gets really narrow and overgrown. lots of bugs today too.
