Beautiful forest with sandy beach on the lake. Facilities damaged in last year’s storm have not yet been repaired.

This Trail has seen better days. A Winter storm did a number on the Resort. There is huge blowdown on many parts of the it. But it doesn’t change the ambiance of it. It’s still a beautiful place. With huge trees and birds singing, the Waterfall, it was so peaceful. Especially cause we were the only ones there. The blowdown and loss of foot traffic made the actual Trail hard to follow. We just went back the way we came. Awesome place. * Parking fee. (Campground closed from earlier storm) * GPS doesn’t work. * Vault toilets (Locked because of closure)

Great little camp site. Nice trails, quiet, peaceful, during Winter anyway!

Just outside Reedsport, along HWY 38 is a place called Loon Lake. It's a great place to camp, hike, and take a boat for fishing or water skiing. There is quite a bit of things to do there. I really enjoyed the location, as the campgrounds are up on a hill, surrounded by trees, with a sandy beach below along the lake. Beach volleyball is available along with a great beach for children to play in close to the water. Great place to camp if you are in the area.
