The real treat on this trail is past the reservoir. Keep going beyond the parking lot for a beautiful secluded section along the stream. The park is always filled with people enjoying the many spaces for play. Reservoir at the top has a beach area with a swimming hole. A must-do if you’re visiting Ashland!

What a wonderful place to visit! The park was clean, no trash spewed about. There was 1 homeless encampment, but it was well off the trail. The Ashland Creek runs along the trail, adding sound to a visually beautiful walk. We encountered at least 30 other couples walking, which was nice to see. We will make this a regular place to visit!
