Nice short, easy trail with great views of the waterfall. It also takes you through the nice Oregon woods. We went just before sunset and were the only ones on the trail! There is a nice lookout spot at the river more than half way through. Although an easy trail, I still recommend hiking boots because the trail is rocky/rough at times.

Took the super short trail down the stairs near the parking lot and it took me straight to the bottom of the waterfall which was gorgeous!

Great short loop! I’d recommend starting with the upper falls so take the left side start to the trail. Steep climb for the first mile-ish or so but the hike down from the upper falls is way nicer that way. Pretty busy for a weekday afternoon but not crazy. Beautiful views!

Great trail! Kinda busy but a nice shorter hike. Actually 2.9 miles because I didn’t start it right away.

Highly recommend this loop. Can hike from either side for different experience. Waterfalls, river, bridge, rock formations. Saw plenty of kids and pups.

A nice, 3mi casual hike with some lovely falls. Close to portland. This is one of my favorite quick hikes. Tip: if you do the full loop clockwise, and wind up back at the road, cross it and follow the path. Don’t walk the road. Blind curves, no shoulder and you’d miss the beautiful falls right before you get back to the parking area!

I wouldn’t call this a hike. More like a short walk to the falls. It got a bit slippery right by the water. Parking can be tricky. We found a spot down the road and walked to the trail head. Spent about 30 minutes total walking around the falls. Once you see it, you’ll forget any frustrations you found while parking. It’s beautiful.

Beautiful waterfall and rock formations, easy trail, usually on the weekends it’s packed, but on an early Monday morning you can have it pretty much to yourself.

Came at 11:30 on a Tuesday morning. Lot was full-up and the lower falls was packed but it was nice once you hit the trail! Beautiful lush green and creeks and the upper falls are awesome! We went counter-clockwise which seemed to be the opposite way everyone else was going. Wasn't a bad route, but next time I'll try it clockwise. By the time we ended the hike there were a few open spots in the lot so the crowds seemed to thin out a bit around 1p.

Hiking

Such a fun hike! My 4 kids, ages 9, 8, 5, & 3 did this with us and they loved seeing the waterfalls. The huge fall at the beginning of the hike was beautiful but the waterfall at the top of the hike is fun because you can go behind it- as long as you don't mine getting wet. While there were a lot of people at the lookout area, the hike was not that crowded.
