I did this hike last Sunday and though I wasn’t expecting it to be cover by snow it was still an awesome hike! The whole way was beautiful river views with mint blue water it was just stunning! I would definitely recommend this hike. One of the most beautiful waterfalls.

A beautiful, short walk down and uphill. The trail is groomed, wide, and well marked. We hiked this in mid September 2017 and met a few mountail bikers and hikers on the trail but not many.

The falls are easy to see. The trail is well marked. The McKenzie river just GUSHES beside you crystal blue.

When you park the fall is like a 5 minute walk. Loved it!

We did the Sahalie - Koosah Falls Loop, good hike with great views of the falls. However, we did go on a busy and excellent weather holiday weekend which was a terrible idea, because it was ridiculous busy and the parking lot, which is already small, was insane. So I recommend the hike, but don't go on a long holiday weekend. Trail is well maintained, not very wide but runs along the river the whole time on both sides. Downside is you don't get that close to the falls like some other places.

Well-maintained trail. Great views.

Decent hike, neat falls but way to many people. I like a little more challenging hike with a little less travel but wanted to cross this one off my list. Still worth going to see.

You can do one side of the trail or loop it onto mckenzieriver trail. It's got some elevation gain. I'd say great for a beginner to set time and work on strength. Waterfalls are always beautiful no matter what time of year

Very rewarding hike. Right along the McKenzie between the two beautiful falls. Moderate up and down elevation gain.

This hike was absolutely amazing! I think it's one of my new favorite hikes :) It was stunning the entire time. So many places to get off at and look at the river for some killer shots or just to rest and enjoy the view. The trail itself was very well maintained. I suggest doing the loop and seeing both sides of the river, plus you get rad views of the falls when you do the loop and can get so close at some points. I highly recommend this hike for a leisure day and enjoy natures candy. Happy hiking! :)

One of the most beautiful in Oregon

Two of the prettiest waterfalls in Oregon. The trail is easy and took 3 hours but that included lots of leisurely stops to enjoy so many beautiful view. Of course, it can be done faster but why would you want to?

This is a wonderful hike the trail is great and the views spectacular. Be sure to go upstream and downstream of the falls there is much more to appreciate.

The trail between the two falls is fairly crowded, so be sure and go beyond the second falls and cross over the river and loop back. The back side of the loop (other side of the river) is much less populated and a beautiful hike with some great views of the falls, as well. There's also a cute stile that crosses a huge, downed tree and a single-log pedestrian bridge upstream from Koosah Falls.
