Quite overgrown on the junior trail. A couple people with machetes would be perfect for that part. Definitely bring poles for the journey down. You'll earn every bit on the way up.
King's Mountain Jr. Trail is a steep hardly maintained bushwhacking trail along the King's Mountain ridge filled with small slippery rocks. Glad I had my poles. This is the only path that lets you take the Wilson River Trail to connect to King's Mountain Trail to summit.
lost a rigid gas permeable contact lens on the trail. ugh!
