Nice trail, almost completely shaded. You never quite escape industrial noises or the dull roar of the highway, but it’s not too bad. Nice forest setting, definitely worth doing if you’re in the area.

Well maintained, intermediate trail. Heavily trafficked especially on a Sunday. Recommend. Some people with dogs off leash, which is kind of annoying because there are signs. Pretty muddy but not too slippery.

A bit rainy out but not dangerous. Less than decent weather for birding. Lots of robins and flickers out

This was a great trail! We brought two dogs which was kinda hard when the trail itself is narrow, so we ended up standing on the edge a lot for runners passing by. But we also went on a Sunday so there was more people then usual.

Very easy trail. If done during the week it’s pretty mellow. There are a few joggers/hikers/bikers but you can go 30 mins - hour without seeing anyone. (There were dogs off leash which I didn’t mind but I know some people do.) Also not much scenery change. I hiked during October and it was not muddy at all. Lots of leaves. It was absolutely beautiful. Parking is on the side of the road and this entrance gets used pretty frequently. However, at least 6-8 cars can fit.

A great way to “get lost” in a lush greenery! You are never too far form the city as you hear a distinctive city “humming” in a background from time to time.

This is a fairly popular trail, so not one for solitude. However, there is also a feeling of general safety since you pass people fairly often. There is a little mud in the trail, and there will be considerably more if it has been raining. The dirt surface is packed down with regular use, so mud is usually minimal. I enjoyed this my second hike of the season. There were mosquitoes at the trailhead, but I didn't notice them on the trail.

Its a good hike but kind of muddy this time of year. I normally don't mind runners but some of them were a bit rude expecting you to stop or move out of the way when clearly the mud situation only gave you limited space on the trail.
