This trail has A LOT of steep uphill hiking. Trekking poles were a great help. Our efforts were rewarded with great views and beautiful wild flowers. Bring extra water and food. Not a good hike to do in the heat of summer. I accidentally turned my trail recording off for at least a half mile so total distance was probably closer to 9.3.

This trail has great views but it's so steep, the middle is more mellow but the upper and lower sections could benefit from some switchbacks. It's a ridgeline walk so mostly open vistas, but can be sunny and hot.

Fun trail. We have been hiking it often and rarely see anyone. Trail runs along the watershed. We saw some hikers who said the trail was called Tiger Canyon but later we met with a forest ranger who confirmed we were on the Indian Rim Ridge trail. Very fun hike. Trekking poles makes it easier to handle the steep areas. A bit rocky which can cause slides. We came to a meadow where there was lots of bear activity. Bear poop and overturned rocks from bears looking for bugs. Beautiful views and scenery changes often which is fun, challenging and beautiful.
