beautiful trail, well marked.

the trail looked so beautiful with all the leaves falling and changing colors. it was wet when we went since it was raining on and off. we were the only ones there that day, which I didnt mind because it was nice having it all to yourself. there is a paid parking area but you can also park on the side of the road too. it's a super easy trail and the scenery makes for some amazing pictures.

Very nice set of intersecting trails. Only downside is it is very busy.

Amazing Portland “getaway!” Took my pup and she loved exploring and rolling in the leaves. Wandered all around the main trails and then over to the Winter area. Way-finding signs are exceptional, so it’s impossible to lose your way (and easy to wander). Trees will probably be at their peak in the next few weeks. Friendly crowd as well - lots of hellos. Really love this Portland park, especially on a weekday afternoon if you can swing it.

Don’t take the suggested route. So hard to follow. Just pick a trail (spruce, fir, etc) and follow the signs

Easy peasy relaxed hike along established trails. One side are evergreens and the other side deciduous. Beautifully created lookouts and views.

Excellent trail. Did a shorter evening hike and walked to the Vietnam memorial and it was stunning. I can't wait to come back!

So these trails are definitely gorgeous- the rhododendrons, azaleas and magnolias are blooming and it was a beautiful day. My real complaint was just that as a visitor the map they gave me and the trail markings were very confusing. If you have plenty of time to amble, it’s awesome. I did 4.5 miles.
