I Love this trail! Close to home and very pretty. The trek up to the top is a steep, but short walk. It’s great for kids and I see a lot of older folks using it as a way to get some exercise. The signs and things at the top are interesting and on a clear day you have great views of Mt Hood, Mt St Helen’s, Mt Adams and even Rainier. It beautiful in spring, summer, and fall. Picnic tables, a pavilion, and restroom facilities make it a nice place for a stroll also.

Short hike up the hill, but beautiful once you get there with paved walkways, Mountain Views, and historic information. Great place for a picnic.

The trail itself is very short and simple. However, if you are just starting walking and have any sort of problems with hills I'd recommend going with someone with an ada parking to park next to path. otherwise you have to start at bottom of a hill which is very steep and is a work out for those who cant walk very well.

Nice&simple walk up to the other trail heads. Jogger stroller made it just fine even on the other trails.

It's not really a hike but it's a very pleasant little walk in an exurban park. If you live nearby, it does have nice views of Mt. Hood and of a few other peaks on clear days with no haze.

Hogan Butte offers a great view of Mt. Hood. It's not much for a hike, as it is a very short, paved trail with informational signs. There is a historical house adjacent to the parking area at the bottom. Only cars with disabled permits can park at the top. It is a short walk up the road from the parking below. There is a covered picnic area and a few other places to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. The park is brand new, so the paved areas don't show up on satellite imagery yet.
