Easy hike through Douglas Fir and Hemlock to Henline Falls and remnants of old mining from the 1930's. The trail meanders through young Douglas-fir and Western Hemlock forest. The trail ends at Henline Falls. Here you will find remnants of old mining from the 1930's. A mine adit was built into the solid rock wall and goes back in about 1500 feet.

This was a beautiful and easy hiking trip with the littles. The 3 year old started to tire out on the way back but the trail was easy enough to carry him the rest of the way.

Super easy hike. And beautiful.

Short but pretty hike. A little dangerous at the end if you bring little ones. Keep a tight grip as you approach the falls.

definitely a cool trail. not overly long, so if you have kids with you it is very doable . the road there is not good, lots of large potholes and it will hurt your shocks. I recommend 4x4 vehicle, though if you do not have one, it's not the end of the world.

Super easy trail, hiked it after doing the majority of henline mountain trail but had to turn back because of snow. The fall is totally worth seeing. A few people there today but not a crowded mess.

Mostly very beautiful and pleasant experience. Awesome waterfall worth the hike. The road to the trail head is full of potholes, and parts of it just gravel. The trail is not toddler friendly close to the waterfall. Took 2 hours with two toddlers.

I took my dogs out here to get away for a little bit. I loved this hike. It was short and had a rewarding ending. The water fall and water in general were beautiful. There’s also a little cave there that you can explore.

Love this hike. About 6 inches of snow throughout the trail. Great spot!

Great hike, took a gentleman that I support out there and he had a great time. The very end of the trail right as you get to the falls is steep with parts of out washed out. As long as you are sure footed though it shouldn't be a problem. Took some great pictures.

Just visited today with my dog. I was surprised how quickly we got to the falls. It was spectacular with some late morning sun beaming through and a rainbow running the gamut of the falls’ drop zone. My dog, who is on the larger side, had a bit of trouble negotiating a section of the trail that looks to be concrete remnants from an old bridge or something. But she was rewarded by enjoying a drink from pristine pools and a treat for bravery.

Short and easy hike to get to the fall. Small area to swim in although water isn't very deep. Overall amazing fall and great time.

Beautiful falls, tons of water this spring. Worth the short hike, even in the rain!

Went on this trail today (4/5/17). At the sign in box, take the trail to the left. There are like one or two forks in the trail, always go left. The hike is very gradual uphill all the way to the falls, which seems to come out of nowhere. The trail itself wasn't (in my opinion) the most scenic, but the falls are absolutely incredible. Pictures could not do it justice. The water is pristine, blue/ green crystal color. You can get right up to the waterfall. I am pretty overweight and the trail was very easy for me to hike. Once you get to gravel, the road is pretty bad...but just drive slow and you'll be fine!

Trailhead:
The roads get a little rough a mile before the trailhead. Note that the trailhead is not labeled, but does have a wilderness bulletin by it.

Trail:
I just completed this on 3/30. The trail had recently been cleared of branches, and didn't appear to have any landslides. Super easy trail, welcome for all ages.

Waterfall:
The waterfall sits behind the remains of an old mine structure from the 1930s. There's an abandoned mine next to the fall, but it's tough to get to currently, with all the rainfall adding to it. The mine is about 1500 feet deep.

Overall:
Great easy family hike through the woods. Pretty fall, and easily accessible!
