It was cold, rainy and windy but we had a great walk today. Just a few people were out today, lots of dogs. Be careful of getting sand in your eyes with strong winds and bundle up!

Tide was too high. Haystack rock is a lovely land mark though.

Lovely walk along the beach. We were unable to complete due to high water keeping us from going beyond the rock bluff.

An easy walk along the beach. Haystack Rock was amazing around sunset. It poured on us, then the sun came out. The beach was wet and reflected like glass. It was magical.

The walk along the beach at sunset is breathtaking! In other weather conditions, it would likely be much less enjoyable. It’s definitely worth going on the middle of the week to have less people on the beach.

Beautiful views. The area right by Haystack Rock was pretty crowded for a Wednesday but overall, it wasn't bad.

We bicycled along this beautiful beach - so much fun!!! Tide pools are amazing - to be able to see ocean life up close is really unique opportunity. If you want to see it, make sure to check the tide charts for low tide time. The best time to experience it is to go about 30 to 60 min earlier.

3/3/2018 This is a great place to visit year round. If you want seclusion sit this one out because people multiply by the second when the sun makes an appearance here. You'll see miles and miles of the most beautiful coastline on the west coast. You need to experience the haystack for yourself just once in your life. You will never forget it. I'll warn you now this is not the place to be if you're trying to forget about a special someone. The very opposite happened to me here. I fell so madly in love with her that it left an imprint on my soul. I felt as if I was floating in the sky.... This place is a portal to happy thoughts.

Its pretty great walk, but keep in mind it is a bird reservation as well, and everything on the rock or around it is a live organism so watch your step!

Went here on a Tuesday afternoon and it was GORGEOUS. You get to see the mountainscape on one sod and the beach on the other. Not too crowded either.

Easy beach stroll with views of sea critters and rock formations. Due to it being such a popular spot, Its almost more fun to go when the weather is ugly.

I liked it. A little too touristy that takes away from the beauty of the place but I don't feel like it was a waste of time. Worth seeing.
