The hike was overall really nice! I have kids 5 years and younger and this was perfect for them. Not too far, just far enough that by the time we got back, my oldest said her legs were tired! It was relatively safe too! I didn’t mind when they ran ahead of me because they knew to stay on the path. The path was not exactly marked. On the far right of the parking lot there is a little bridge just beyond the brush. Most of the path is paved, a few grassy parts of the path that looks like it isn’t the part of the path. There is a cut through should you need to get back quicker! It was a beautiful walk! It had lots of wildflowers to look at. There were lots of birds too! Overall, it was a really nice easy walk with the kids!

Beautiful trail along the estuary. Saw lots of wildlife including a blue heron and a eagle. Very flat, easy trail. Short and perfect for young children too. Really enjoyed it. Takes about 45 minutes to walk out and back.

Super easy, interpretive trail (educational signs along the way.) Probably wheelchair accessible. Very short. Scenic views of Yaquina bay and estuary wildlife. Many birds to see and if you're lucky you might encounter a bird of prey hunting in the marsh or a seagull dropping clams on the hard mud to crack them open.
