I put the full five stars for now even though I didn't make it. I'm betting it's going to be when I finally do get to check it out. The road is still blocked and not by just a little debris, nonetheless some people have managed to make a road over it but I wouldn't dare it even if I still I had my Subaru. A little way back right before nature's road block is a shaded forest road that leads to a little campsite on the river which is really beautiful.

The rode was closed due to a slide of dirt, rocks and trees across the rode. We had about 7 miles to go. We will come back another time and try it again.

First mile is road from the parking lot, then good moderate hiking up. Varying views of the valley that improve visibility with altitude.
